The body of an Alpaca, the ears of a mouse, and the face of a red panda come together to make the Alpamox.
Ansel Adams has been my inspiration since high school. I have always enjoyed photographing landscapes instead of people. He made me feel that it wasn't pointless and that people actually appreciated pure nature scenes. I love his piece "The Tetons and the Snake River", because his appreciation for levels and dramatic black and white photography is inspiring. I am looking forward to experimenting with black and white photography and landscapes.
A work that I have most recently made and am most proud of is a portrait project for Advanced Photo. We had the opportunity to use strobes and practice different lighting techniques. I achieved success with Split lighting, although I was reaching for Rembrandt. I am glad I worked with Split rather than the other, because it worked well with my message in the work. I was trying to highlight the fact that people's religions and cultures shouldn't define them at first glance.
